the location and security was good

the location was good

we barely saw the staff hence we had no one to clean our room. 4 nights in a row. we had to check out with no one at the front desk. my id was on the table. so i placed their room key and took minee. a bit strange

Great value for money

The value for the stay is exceptional. The room is complete with heater and refrigerator.

The location wise, it is now a bit farther to the beach than its previous location. No phone signal inside the room. The wifi is fluctuating from normal speed to very slow speed internet. The only issue I had is when I checked out. No staff is around, we we're in a hurry to catch the trip. They put a phone number to call in the desk but the number is cannot be reached. Luckily, I have a viber number of the property, but it took almost an hour to reach them. I suggest to future tenants to inform ahead the front desk them time you will be checking out. Thank you!

BORACAY IS A TOURIST TRAP.

LOCATION AND PRICE.

ROOM WAS SMALL, NO HOT WATER, NO TOILETRIES AND NO WINDOW.

Once we actually found the place, it was pleasant to stay here.

Location was great, but not very well documented - The fact that it was part of "Taj Resort" was not mentioned which made the initial finding of the place very difficult.

WiFi was terrible, unsecured WiFi and very limited. Very often we got a message there were too many users of the WiFi and unable to browse the internet or use the service.

Close to the beach, quiet enough at night until 6am. Nice staff.

5 year old pictures doesn't reflect used up dirty room. Contrary to description, they don't supply complimentary water bottles, hand soap or shampoo so bring soap. Power enabled by electronic access card so even the fridge turns off when you leave the room. But for Boracay you get what you pay for I guess. 1 400p/night.

Rooms had good beds and close to the beach.

We liked the close proximity to the beach and other points of interest. The massage professionals on the third floor were very good.

The pictures of the property on the website did not match reality. The building did not look like the pictures on the website. There were no toiletries in any of our rooms. (I booked two other rooms through the hotel website. Then when I needed another room, I got no response and had to book through booking.com). There was rotten food in the refrigerator in one of the rooms and the sliding glass door couldn't be locked. This made my question the standard of cleanliness overall. In the other room, the toilet could not be flushed, so I had to lift the top cover to flush the toilet. Thankfully, the staff member moved us to new rooms on the third floor that looked cleaner. There are stairs right before you enter the third floor that curve. My mom almost fell twice in that area. The dim lighting and the stairs not having a trim to help the eye tell each step a part makes going up those stairs unsafe. I also didn't like that there was usually no one manning the desk. They seemed to be walking from another property. This is very inconvenient if you have a simple request and you have to look for someone to talk to.

We will never recommend or stay in this hotel

NOTHING, we were disappointed from the deceiving post to staff to facility they all failed. 1. I booked this for a friend and I personally recommended this Taj hotel from others because it was indicated in their facilities that "transport" (airport-jetty port-hotel) is included. But after my card process, I tried to called them and check and I was told that they do not offer the transport. 2. When my friend arrived at the hotel, they didnt get an early check-in, we arrived there around 12:30nn, they were not offered anything when they arrive, they were also told that they don't see any booking schedule for my friend. I was so pissed that my friend keep on bugging me with the messed. I was already checkin at 12:30pm and my friend was still out waiting until 2pm to get in. Horrible service 3. When they check-in, the door knob was broken, the aircon is not working, and the place smells. My friend fell as sleep and when we woke up around 3pm they message me informing me that they were all sweating because the aircon is broken. 4. My friend told me, there was a black out at around 2:30am, since i did not check in here and was comfortably sleeping at Red Coconut, my friend texted me that Taj, doesnt have a generator so, they need to wait until the lights on so they can sleep because it was too hot.
